Receptionist, Automotive Dealership Customer Service
Overview
Greet customers, direct them to the right department, and manage call flow at Bayway Auto Group, an award-winning Houston auto group. You'll enter customer data into the prospect tracking system and generate weekly reports for managers. Working with the General Sales Manager and a team of sales and service professionals, you'll be the first point of contact for customers during busy showroom and service rush hours. This part-time role stands out for its Saturday shifts and clear growth path within the company, supported by paid training and consistent recognition.
What You'll Do8
- 1Greet showroom customers, identify their needs, and introduce them to the correct salesperson.
- 2Answer incoming phone calls, direct callers to the appropriate party, and take detailed messages when needed.
- 3Collect basic customer demographics using the established log sheet and enter them into the prospect tracking system.
- 4Run weekly prospect reports for management to support lead follow-up.
- 5Relay messages to the correct staff members without delay to keep operations smooth.
- 6Type memos, correspondence, and reports as requested to support the dealership.
- 7Assist service customers during the morning and evening rush to speed up check-in.
- 8Support the team with clerical tasks as assigned and maintain a professional work area.
Requirements7
- 118+ years old with a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
- 2Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to pass background check and drug test.
- 3Comfortable working Saturdays and available for part-time hours.
- 4Excellent customer service and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 5Professional appearance and work ethic, with ability to work solo and with a team.
- 6Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
- 7Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
