What You'll Do7
- 1Represent landlords and tenants in Housing Court proceedings including evictions and nonpayment cases
- 2Draft review and negotiate leases purchase agreements and other real estate contracts
- 3Handle residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing
- 4Advise clients on landlord tenant disputes rent stabilization and rent control matters
- 5Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda motions and pleadings
- 6Manage a caseload independently while maintaining clear client communication
- 7Stay current on New York real estate law housing regulations and court procedures
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- 3Active New York State Bar admission in good standing
- 41–5 years of experience in real estate law landlord tenant law or related practice area
- 5Familiarity with New York City Housing Court procedures and practices
- 6Strong drafting negotiation and litigation skills
- 7Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
- 8Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
