Overview

You will own the legal lifecycle of residential and commercial real estate transactions in Houston. Draft, negotiate, and close deals while advising clients on zoning and land use. You will coordinate with lenders, title companies, and internal teams to drive outcomes. This role offers direct client counsel and litigation support in a dynamic market. 2+ years of Texas real estate law experience is required.

What You'll Do6

  • 1Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, purchase agreements, and lease agreements.
  • 2Conduct title searches and resolve title issues for residential and commercial properties.
  • 3Manage real estate closings and ensure compliance with Texas laws and regulations.
  • 4Advise clients on zoning, land use, and property development matters.
  • 5Represent clients in real estate disputes, litigation, and mediation proceedings.
  • 6Perform due diligence on acquisitions and dispositions, coordinating with lenders and title companies.

Requirements7

  • 1Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 2Active license to practice law in the State of Texas.
  • 32+ years of experience in real estate law, transactions, or related practice areas.
  • 4Strong knowledge of Texas real estate laws, regulations, and closing procedures.
  • 5Experience with commercial and/or residential real estate transactions preferred.
  • 6Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • 7Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
