Overview
Silvi Materials seeks a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to lead plant operations at their Morrisville facility. You will own equipment lifecycle management while collaborating across a diverse team. This role drives operational excellence in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs on compressors generators fans and motors along with conveyors hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- 2Diagnose equipment failures determine root causes and implement improvement solutions through teamwork
- 3Install approved modifications following manager directives
- 4Execute preventive maintenance according to schedule documenting all activities
- 5Balance systems and rigs during disassembly while adhering to safety protocols
- 6Weld fabricate replace broken components install new bearings gears valves seals and linkages
- 7Service lubricate and maintain all equipment ensuring optimal performance
- 8Manage inventory storage and proper utilization of tools materials and supplies
- 9Maintain clean safe workspace meeting OSHA standards
- 10Adapt to fast paced fluid business environment with flexibility
- 11Climb stairs ladders and silos to access elevated areas
Requirements10
- 1Minimum 5 years experience in similar maintenance roles
- 2High school diploma or equivalent accepted
- 3Valid driver’s license required
- 4Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- 5Strong physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- 6Experience with concrete chipping shoveling sweeping and greasing plant equipment
- 7Familiarity with Windows basic applications and internet usage
- 8Knowledge of plant maintenance procedures and safety regulations
- 9Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- 10Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
