RDC Customer Support Specialist, Supply Chain & SAP
Overview
You own end-to-end customer issue resolution for RDC operations at ABB, coordinating with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure stock policy execution and KPI achievement. You work onsite in Nashville, Tennessee, reporting to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager, and bridge internal teams with external customers to drive satisfaction and ROTD targets. Your role directly impacts the reliability of energy distribution solutions for data centers and industrial plants. This position demands proactive communication and deep SAP and Excel expertise to manage forecasts, backlogs, and fulfillment issues.
What You'll Do8
- 1Execute stock policy in line with contract terms and KPI targets, maintaining reports and follow-up on open actions to prevent issues.
- 2Own communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve customer issues and drive satisfaction.
- 3Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and Feeder Factories to resolve customer issues end-to-end.
- 4Recommend solutions for customer requests and coordinate with teams for production capability, scheduling, resourcing, quotes, and invoicing.
- 5Monitor and control backlog to ensure accurate and timely customer information, escalating issues proactively.
- 6Collaborate with customers and sales teams to collect forecasts and take internal actions using available tools.
- 7Develop strategies to achieve 100% ROTD and build long-term customer relationships to improve processes.
- 8Identify fulfillment issues and communicate them to customers, working with PMM or Engineering for alternate materials.
Requirements9
- 16+ years relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or 8+ years with an associate's degree, or 10+ years with a high school diploma.
- 2Advanced ability to interact and communicate with varying organizational levels.
- 3Previous supply chain experience.
- 4Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- 5Advanced proficiency in SAP.
- 6Moderate ability in project management using MS Project or Excel.
- 7Advanced organizational skills to meet deadlines on administrative duties.
- 8Data analysis and reporting skills.
- 9Must have valid US work authorization.
