Overview
Join Trendler Components as an R&D Machinist to build custom tooling and lead precision part development. What You'll Do11
- 1Build custom tooling and dies for metal product manufacturing
- 2Design and fabricate precision parts and fixtures
- 3Operate CNC and manual machining equipment safely
- 4Calibrate and troubleshoot tooling and equipment
- 5Read technical blueprints to develop gauges and jigs
- 6Improve existing manufacturing processes and equipment
- 7Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives
- 8Set up and test new products with design changes
- 9Maintain shop tools and perform miscellaneous tasks
- 10Assemble and debug mechanical devices according to specifications
- 11Contribute to team efforts through coordinated results
Requirements10
- 15+ years experience in tool and die making
- 2Certification from Tool and Die Trade School
- 3High School Graduate
- 4Experience with robotic welding preferred
- 5Ability to work independently under pressure
- 6Strong problem solving and quality control skills
- 7Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- 8Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs
- 9Close and distance vision with color perception
- 10Manual dexterity and ability to climb ladders
