Overview

Cross-functional R&D Analytical and Microbiology technician supporting product development across OTC drug cosmetics disinfectant and household categories. Primary focus involves non-GMP testing media buffer sample solution preparations bioburden assays culture preparation plate counts analytical testing pH titrations specific gravity spectroscopy and maintaining clean laboratory environments. Responsibilities include managing inventory sterilizing disposing materials and upholding quality safety and efficiency standards.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Perform routine and non-routine USP EPA ASTM and in-house microbiological testing for antiseptic and disinfectant efficacy following SOPs in a BSL-2 laboratory
  • 2Execute analytical tests such as titration spectroscopy pH specific gravity and color odor appearance assessments
  • 3Prepare media mobile phases buffers reagents sample preparations dilutions cultures and maintain equipment like pipettes balances and pH meters
  • 4Support analytical and microbiology projects as assigned
  • 5Maintain GDPR compliant electronic notebooks and perform data analysis
  • 6Learn additional analytical microbiology skills and assume greater responsibilities
  • 7Communicate effectively with R&D team members
  • 8Follow explicit directions multitask and keep diligent records
  • 9Conduct work with highest integrity adhering to company policies and safety regulations
  • 10Manage inventory sterilize dispose materials and ensure a clean laboratory environment

Requirements5

  • 1High school diploma minimum Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science preferably Chemistry or Microbiology
  • 20-3 years of R&D or QC lab experience or equivalent training and experience
  • 35+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 45+ years building ETL pipelines with Python and AWS
  • 53-5 seasons of professional experience
