RBT - ABA Therapy for Child with Autism
Overview
You will deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to a 7-year-old boy with autism in his Sun City, AZ home, helping him build daily living, communication, and independence skills through play-based interventions. You will follow treatment plans designed by a licensed BCBA, track progress via a mobile data system, and collaborate with a supportive clinical team. This part-time role offers 3-5 weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings, with flexible scheduling and pay of $21-$26/hr based on experience.
What You'll Do6
- 1Implement play-based ABA techniques during 1:1 sessions to teach communication, daily living, and social skills.
- 2Follow step-by-step treatment plans created by your supervising BCBA to ensure consistency and clinical integrity.
- 3Track session progress using a mobile data system on your phone or tablet, entering notes after each session.
- 4Collaborate with the BCBA and fellow behavior techs to adjust strategies and share observations.
- 5Provide families with session summaries and celebrate small wins to reinforce progress at home.
- 6Adapt activities in real time to keep the child engaged, using positive reinforcement and creative play.
Requirements5
- 11+ years experience working with children in settings like special education, after-school programs, or caregiving.
- 2Prior ABA experience preferred but not required; training provided.
- 3Availability for afternoon and evening shifts Monday through Friday, plus Saturday mornings.
- 4Reliable transportation to client homes in Sun City, AZ, and surrounding areas.
- 5Comfort using smartphones or tablets for data entry and session notes.
