RBT/Behavior Technician, ABA Therapy for Children
Overview
You'll provide 1:1 ABA therapy in-home for an 8-year-old boy with autism, implementing play-based RBT techniques to build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence. You'll work 4 days per week, 4:00-6:30 PM, with a licensed BCBA designing treatment plans. You'll track progress on a tablet using a simple data system, collaborate with a supportive team, and report to families. This role offers $21-$26/hr, flexible scheduling, and health benefits for 20+ hours, making it ideal for supplemental income or students.
What You'll Do5
- 1Implement RBT techniques in play-based ABA therapy during afternoon sessions in the client's home.
- 2Follow step-by-step treatment plans designed by a licensed BCBA to target daily living skills and communication.
- 3Track client progress after each session using a mobile data system on a phone or tablet.
- 4Collaborate with the BCBA and fellow behavior technicians to ensure consistent therapy delivery.
- 5Provide feedback to families on session outcomes and celebrate progress together.
Requirements5
- 11+ year experience working with children in settings like SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, classroom aide, after-school programs, caregiving, or autism support.
- 2ABA experience is a plus; RBT certification preferred but not required.
- 3Availability Monday through Friday afternoons and evenings (4:00-6:30 PM), weekends a plus.
- 4Reliable transportation to client homes in Mesa, AZ.
- 5Pass a background check.
