What You'll Do10
- 1Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and escort them to imaging areas
- 2Operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images
- 3Ensure patient safety by applying radiation protection measures
- 4Maintain radiology equipment and report malfunctions
- 5Document patient visits and complete necessary paperwork
- 6Perform blood draws and administer medications per clinical protocols
- 7Assist clinicians with patient preparation and emergency triage
- 8Follow hospital policies for medication dispensing and supply management
- 9Keep medical records organized and ensure compliance with regulations
- 10Collaborate with team members to improve patient flow and experience
Requirements9
- 1High School Diploma or GED with ARRT certification
- 2Active state radiologic technology certification
- 3Six months of medical assisting experience
- 4Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- 5Ability to follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality
- 6Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- 7Experience with electronic health records and documentation systems
- 8Familiarity with medical software and equipment operation
- 9Willingness to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
