Overview

Quality Inspector will own inspection of manufactured components using CMM and digital tools. Report to the quality lead and join a team of 15 inspectors. Work onsite in Boston where you will handle pre/post-test inspection for customer parts. 1+ years of hands-on mechanical experience and blueprint reading skills set you up for success. This role includes tuition reimbursement and training development from day one.

What You'll Do7

  • 1Inspect manufactured components with CMM and digital inspection equipment
  • 2Perform pre/post-test inspection of customer parts using mechanical tools
  • 3Plan inspection activities by reviewing work operation sheets, blueprints, and customer drawings
  • 4Execute sampling procedures and conduct visual inspection on parts
  • 5Operate CMM machine to verify dimensional accuracy
  • 6Document inspection results and flag non-conformances to the quality team
  • 7Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold safety standards

Requirements8

  • 11+ years of manufacturing, warehouse, automotive, or mechanical experience
  • 2High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3Strong mechanical aptitude with hand tools and power tools
  • 4Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
  • 5Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • 6Blueprint and technical drawing reading ability
  • 7Good math skills and problem-solving abilities
  • 8Strong attention to detail and dependable work ethic
