The Quality Engineer will own product compliance ensuring adherence to customer specifications and industry standards. This role drives continuous improvement through initiatives like 6S LeanTQMTPMISO SonyGreen and IATF while managing EMS Core Team responsibilities. You will lead cross-functional efforts to analyze root causes and implement corrective actions using Six Sigma methodologies.
What You'll Do10
- 1Enforce work instructions safety and security procedures and company policies
- 2Ensure compliance with product specifications QMS EMS and relevant certification standards
- 3Lead continuous improvement programs such as 6S LeanTQMTPMISO and ISO initiatives
- 4Set performance goals evaluate team performance provide feedback and implement recognition or corrective actions
- 5Develop skilled teams monitor quality metrics like PPM and administrative errors to reduce defects
- 6Participate in compliance activities and emergency response leadership when appointed
- 7Identify and analyze problems implement preventive actions and use Six Sigma tools
- 8Analyze work accidents and implement corrective measures
- 9Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and communicate effectively
- 10Prepare reports such as 8D reports and address stakeholder concerns
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 26S LeanTQMTPMISO certification preferred
- 3ISO certification required
- 4Sony Green initiative involvement
- 5IATF experience preferred
