Overview
High-precision machine shop seeking Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives across manufacturing processes. This role drives continuous improvement by collaborating with production teams and supporting operational excellence.
What You'll Do12
- 1Review engineering drawings and specifications translate them into manufacturing and inspection requirements
- 2Develop and maintain Control Plans PFMEAs Process Flow Diagrams inspection plans and work instructions
- 3Support new product introduction process development and manufacturing qualification activities
- 4Design inspection methods sampling plans and measurement strategies
- 5Perform Gage R&R MSA capability studies SPC and process analysis to reduce variation
- 6Work directly with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- 7Lead root-cause investigations using 5-Why Fishbone and 8D methodologies
- 8Manage internal and supplier nonconformances and ensure corrective action closure
- 9Participate in MRB activities investigate documentation and follow up nonconforming material
- 10Support customer complaints returns and quality investigations
- 11Implement corrective and preventive actions verify effectiveness
- 12Audit suppliers and support quality activities including audits and performance monitoring
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading manufacturing quality projects
- 3ISO 9001 certification
- 4Spark programming language proficiency
- 5AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- 6Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings
- 7Experience with PPAP and process capability studies
- 8Proficiency with SPC MSA and Gage R&R techniques
- 9Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices
- 10Ability to analyze quality data and communicate trends to management
- 11Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
