What You'll Do19
- 1Manage and control quality documentation submittals and revisions
- 2Review submittals for compliance prior to client submission
- 3Inspect materials and equipment for conformance with contract documents and approved submittals
- 4Log and report material delivery inspections
- 5Develop and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- 6Coordinate and schedule third‑party inspections and testing
- 7Conduct preparatory phase meetings prior to definable scopes of work
- 8Schedule and oversee mock‑ups initial inspections and follow‑ups
- 9Identify and enforce hold points per project specifications
- 10Manage subcontractor and supplier quality compliance
- 11Conduct internal and external audits and generate surveillance reports
- 12Track and maintain quality records reporting and statistical analysis
- 13Verify calibration reports and ensure certifications welders current
- 14Identify and manage nonconforming conditions lead corrective preventive actions
- 15Ensure compliance with marine construction standards including underwater concrete placement pile driving tolerances cathodic protection and corrosion control specifications
- 16Oversee quality control for geotechnical operations backfill placement vibro compaction density testing and settlement monitoring
- 17Ensure proper handling storage and control of materials and equipment
- 18Conduct training and evaluate effectiveness across project teams
- 19Support design process control and interpret drawings specifications
Requirements7
- 15+ years quality management experience in marine construction port waterfront bulkhead or coastal infrastructure projects
- 2Experience with ground improvement techniques and geotechnical testing programs on marine or port construction projects
- 3Invision Certification Preferred
- 4Strong knowledge of Construction Quality Programs CQP ITPs audits and document control
- 5Ability to read and interpret construction drawings specifications
- 6Experience with subcontractor oversight and field quality control
- 7Familiarity with FDOT or public agency standards
