Quality Control Lab Technician – Stability & Finished Products
Overview
Vege Labs seeks a skilled Quality Control Lab Technician to lead stability and finished product testing. The role involves managing stability samples and conducting comprehensive physical and chemical analyses. Candidates must deliver accurate results and documentation while supporting product release. What You'll Do14
- 1Manage and maintain stability samples and stability testing schedules
- 2Pull and test stability samples according to established protocols
- 3Monitor stability chambers and maintain accurate records
- 4Perform physical and chemical testing of bulk and finished products including pH viscosity specific gravity color odor appearance and other QC parameters
- 5Review record and communicate laboratory and stability results
- 6Identify and report abnormal results trends and potential quality concerns
- 7Perform routine QC testing to support production and product release requirements
- 8Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks stability records test reports logs and electronic documentation
- 9Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
- 10Assist with out-of-specification results deviations investigations and root-cause analysis
- 11Support product specifications test methods and other QC documentation
- 12Communicate laboratory results and concerns to QC Management and other departments
- 13Provide coverage for Raw Materials Lab Technician when needed
- 14Maintain a clean organized and safe laboratory following GMP GLP Good Documentation Practices safety and company procedures
Requirements9
- 12–3 years of QC laboratory or laboratory testing experience preferred
- 2Experience in cosmetics personal care OTC pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing strongly preferred
- 3Stability testing experience strongly preferred
- 4Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Biology Biochemistry or related field preferred
- 5Strong attention to detail accuracy and documentation skills
- 6Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
- 7Bilingual English Spanish is a plus
- 8Ability to stand and walk for extended periods work at laboratory benches bend reach and lift up to 25–30 lbs
- 9Ability to work safely with laboratory chemicals while using required PPE
