Overview

Lead quality and food safety at Innophos' Nashville manufacturing site, owning ISO 9001 and BRC/FSMA systems. What You'll Do13

  • 1Develop and maintain quality (ISO 9001) and food safety systems (BRC & FSMA) that meet or exceed company and regulatory standards.
  • 2Drive improvement against key quality metrics, including customer complaints and non-conformances.
  • 3Investigate complaints and lead Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
  • 4Manage internal audits and facilitate third-party and customer audits.
  • 5Prepare protocols for validation and verification studies (IQ, OQ, PQ, raw material qualifications).
  • 6Review data sheets, microbiological results, Out of Specification (OOS), and deviation reports for product release.
  • 7Lead site quality and food safety management reviews and help shape quality strategy.
  • 8Serve as site Preventative Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) and food defense coordinator.
  • 9Oversee sanitation protocols, environmental monitoring, and stability programs.
  • 10Respond to customer technical inquiries and review customer specifications.
  • 11Lead the plant escalation process for critical quality issues.
  • 12Deliver new-hire and annual cGMP and food safety training.
  • 13Coach and develop the Quality Assurance team (2 reports, direct and indirect).

Requirements7

  • 1Bachelor's degree in food, pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, or phosphate products; master's or technical degree in chemistry or chemical engineering strongly preferred.
  • 210-15 years of professional experience, with management experience preferred.
  • 3Strong working knowledge of quality assurance, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • 4Training strongly preferred in FSMA/FSVP and Food Defense.
  • 5PCQI certification and HACCP certification.
  • 6Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to partner across all levels.
  • 7Strong PC and analytical skills.
