Qualified Medication Aide Indianapolis
Overview
We seek a qualified Medication Aide to provide medication management and support for residents at The Stratford in Indianapolis. This role focuses on delivering compassionate care within a supportive community environment. Candidates should have relevant experience and a commitment to resident well-being.
What You'll Do11
- 1Represent the campus positively while fostering respect and courtesy for residents and staff
- 2Administer prescribed medications at scheduled times and document administrations accurately
- 3Manage controlled substances and PRN medications following strict protocols
- 4Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate resident status changes to nursing leadership
- 5Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dining, and mobility support
- 6Observe and report resident reactions or side effects promptly
- 7Participate in care plan assessments and support therapeutic activities
- 8Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality
- 9Travel for training and emergency situations as required
- 10Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Nursing Services
- 11Lead daily activities when necessary and engage in team-building initiatives
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Current Nursing Assistant certification
- 3Current Qualified Medication Assistant certification
- 4Minimum age of 21 years
- 5Two years of related healthcare experience preferred
- 6Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform light physical tasks
- 7Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- 8Experience with medication administration protocols
- 9Proficiency in documenting patient information accurately
- 10Commitment to providing compassionate resident care
