Overview
Wellpath seeks a qualified Medication Aide to support medication administration inventory management and pharmaceutical storage in Indianapolis. What You'll Do5
- 1Prepare and administer prescribed medications under RN supervision following facility policies and Pharmacy Board regulations
- 2Document all medication administrations accurately on the Medication Administration Record including non-administered items and reasons
- 3Follow infection control techniques and uphold the six rights of medication administration
- 4Contribute to data collection medication audits and performance improvement initiatives reporting adverse reactions to supervisors
- 5Maintain cleanliness and organization of medication carts restocking medications and supplies while protecting patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2One year relevant medical environment experience preferred
- 3Completed QMAP training and passed competency evaluation
- 4Current CPR certification and QMAP identification number for online verification
