
QA Engineer, Windows Hardware Validation
Overview
You will own validation for Windows-based consumer platforms, ensuring release readiness through manual testing and hardware debugging. What You'll Do7
- 1Execute manual test cases for Windows-based consumer platforms, documenting results and reporting defects.

- 3Validate system performance and stability across different configurations, including GPU, CPU, and memory stress testing.
- 4Participate in cross-functional reviews to ensure test coverage aligns with product requirements and release criteria.
- 5Develop and maintain test plans, test matrices, and standard operating procedures for Windows validation.
- 6Support BIOS and driver validation, verifying compatibility and functionality on Windows 10/11.
- 7Track and report quality metrics, providing clear insights to project stakeholders.
Requirements7
- 13+ years of experience in QA testing, focusing on Windows platforms and hardware validation.
- 2Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, including Windows 10/11 and Windows Server.
- 3Hands-on experience with hardware debugging and troubleshooting (e.g., HDMI, USB, PCIe).
- 4Familiarity with BIOS, drivers, and firmware validation processes.
- 5Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and defect tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
- 6Experience with PowerShell or Python scripting for test automation is a plus.
- 7Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, CA for a 6-month contract.
