Overview
You will own purchasing and inventory control for a distributor serving the Electronics Manufacturing Industry. You manage sourcing, supplier relationships, and on-time delivery across top-tier product lines. You work in a small, informal team where your input drives daily decisions. This role offers 25-40 hours per week with flexibility based on responsibilities. Proven experience matters more than a degree, and references are required.
What You'll Do7
- 1Source and purchase goods and services for electronics manufacturing lines.
- 2Manage supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
- 3Ensure and measure on-time delivery and inventory turns.
- 4Negotiate pricing and terms to reduce costs.
- 5Collaborate with team on inventory control and planning.
- 6Maintain procurement records and systems.
- 7Resolve supply issues and backorders.
Requirements7
- 13+ years in sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
- 2Strong negotiation skills with a record of cost reduction.
- 3Familiarity with procurement systems and supply chain management.
- 4Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- 5Problem-solving and attention to detail.
- 6Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management preferred, but proven experience accepted.
- 7References required.
