Pump Attendant, Part Time - Site 541
Overview
Gas station service role focused on friendly customer care and clean facilities at a Forest Grove site. You will support fuel dispensers, assist customers, and maintain pumps and surrounding areas. The position reports to the Site Manager and supports the Car Wash Lead as needed. This role offers varied shifts and onsite, contract employment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build relationships with customers and greet them upon arrival
- 2Assist customers at the pump and with transactions to ensure accuracy
- 3Clean gas pumps and surrounding areas to maintain a neat storefront
- 4Perform light janitorial duties including trash disposal, window washing, and equipment upkeep
- 5Maintain interior and exterior areas including the lot, car wash, and building
- 6Support Car Wash Lead with duties and special requests as needed
- 7Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Site Manager
- 8Provide friendly, responsive service to ensure a positive customer experience
- 9Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards in all tasks while working independently
- 10Support a multi-task environment with accurate record keeping and communication
Requirements10
- 1Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
- 2Must have ability to accurately handle money and perform simple math
- 3Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 4Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate with customers and co-workers
- 5Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- 6Minimum education of high school diploma or GED equivalency (preferred)
- 7Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift
- 8Occasional ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- 9Exposure to variable temperatures and cleaning solvents or chemicals
- 10Daily exposure to gasoline and oil products
