What You'll Do7
- 1Evaluate and diagnose adult patients with pulmonary conditions including COPD, asthma, chronic cough, and pulmonary infections.
- 2Assess and manage sleep-related disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, and hypersomnia.
- 3Order and interpret sleep studies, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and diagnostic imaging.
- 4Develop comprehensive treatment plans and conduct follow-up visits for ongoing patient care.
- 5Collaborate with pulmonologists and sleep medicine physicians to ensure coordinated care.
- 6Educate patients on CPAP/BiPAP therapy, medication management, smoking cessation, and lifestyle modifications.
- 7Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements5
- 1Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with active licensure.
- 2Active or eligible for Washington State licensure and DEA registration.
- 33+ years of clinical experience in pulmonary, sleep medicine, internal medicine, or primary care preferred.
- 4Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
- 5Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based care model.
