Overview

Wells Fargo seeks a Public Finance Program Associate to join the Public Finance Investment Banking team within the Municipal Products Group. You will support the Higher Education coverage team manage client relationships develop business opportunities and execute transactions including derivatives. The role involves collaborating with senior and junior team members building influence among municipal market professionals and assisting issuers such as public and private higher education institutions. What You'll Do11

  • 1Prepare detailed cash flow analysis to support transaction execution
  • 2Create pitch books
  • 3Draft responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • 4Lead due diligence meetings
  • 5Work closely with internal and external counsel to negotiate legal documentation
  • 6Manage internal compliance requirements with analysts and internal partners
  • 7Maintain client relationships screen potential finance solutions
  • 8Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercising independent judgment
  • 9Collaborate with functional colleagues internal partners and stakeholders
  • 10Develop expertise in policies procedures and compliance requirements
  • 11Support the development of municipal bond market knowledge

Requirements10

  • 12+ years of Investment Banking Program experience or equivalent
  • 2Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Finance or Accounting or 3+ years direct public finance experience
  • 3Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external clients
  • 4High attention to detail and accuracy
  • 5Strong quantitative skills and experience with AI tools for client pitch materials
  • 6Proficiency using Excel writing formulas organizing analyzing formatting auditing data
  • 7Experience reviewing and interpreting financial statements
  • 8Analytical and problem solving abilities with decision making skills
  • 9Proactive approach to anticipating questions and exceeding expectations
  • 10Capacity to handle high volume workload while remaining organized in a fast paced environment
