Overview
We seek a Fixed Income Associate to lead fundamental credit analysis and relative value assessment for municipal and corporate bonds. The role generates actionable insights while supporting trading and client engagement. This position emphasizes innovative thinking and client-focused outcomes.
What You'll Do7
- 1Conduct deep credit analysis on municipal and corporate bond issuers across sectors
- 2Maintain current knowledge of fixed income markets macroeconomics fundamentals and technical factors
- 3Evaluate relative value across the curve capital structure and peer groups to produce trade ideas
- 4Develop and maintain financial models and credit opinions for investment recommendations
- 5Publish concise investment recommendations for new issues secondary market opportunities and existing holdings
- 6Support traders and portfolio managers with trade execution allocations and market insights
- 7Contribute to client meetings by articulating market insights professionally
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree in finance accounting or economics with 3-8 years experience in fixed income credit research or equivalent role
- 2Proficiency with Excel Bloomberg FactSet and Charles River platforms
- 3CFA candidate or charter holder preferred along with MBA
- 45+ years building ETL pipelines using Spark and Airflow
- 5Strong analytical abilities with emphasis on quantitative modeling and financial statement analysis
