Psychologist, Neurocognitive Testing & Outpatient Clinic
Overview
You will own neurocognitive and neuropsychological testing services at an outpatient mental health clinic in Orlando, using Ph.D. or Psy.D. expertise. You join a network of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and licensed therapists, collaborating across in-person and telehealth platforms. This role offers flexibility as an independent contractor, with choice of hours and 50% telemedicine from the start. You will shape patient care with full administrative support and the latest digital testing tools.
What You'll Do8
- 1Conduct neuropsychological and neurocognitive testing to assess patient cognitive function and diagnose conditions.
- 2Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other providers to integrate testing results into treatment plans.
- 3Deliver psychoeducation to patients and families, explaining mental health conditions and testing outcomes.
- 4Document all testing services in compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
- 5Stay current with psychology and neuropsychology advancements through continuing education.
- 6Build a testing practice that grows with patient demand, refining protocols as you learn.
- 7Coordinate with administrative staff to schedule, prepare, and follow up on testing appointments.
- 8Interpret complex data from WAIS-IV, WMS-IV, and other instruments to guide patient care.
Requirements5
- 1Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
- 2Experience conducting neurocognitive and neuropsychological testing
- 3Active Florida license or in the process of obtaining one
- 4Work experience in an outpatient setting preferred
- 5Ability to work as an independent contractor with flexible hours, including some telehealth availability on weekends
