Board-Certified Psychiatrist leading care across SNF and outpatient settings in Southern California. You will round in inpatient and SNF environments with a multidisciplinary team and support for telehealth services. You will practice clinical autonomy within a collaborative group that emphasizes flexible scheduling and comprehensive care. This role offers a 1099 independent contractor arrangement with competitive salary potential based on patient volume.
What You'll Do10
- 1Provide in patient psychiatric care with in person rounds alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and nurse practitioners
- 2Deliver collaborative and efficient patient care by using the hospital EMR
- 3Offer telehealth services via video or phone when appropriate
- 4Manage all aspects of psychiatric consults including holds and discharge planning
- 5Support SNF and outpatient clinics in Long Beach, CA
- 6Oversee NP work while remaining available to see patients if desired
- 7Maintain clinical autonomy with strong team support
- 8Participate in research up to 2-3 days per month for 1-2 hours each day
- 9Adhere to a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends or night calls
- 10Provide 1099 independent contractor services with occurrence-based malpractice coverage
