Psychiatrist MD/DO, PTSD Care & Telehealth
Overview
You will own psychiatric care for a diverse patient panel at Project New Generation LLC in Phoenix, Arizona. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with PTSD and other conditions, combining in-person and telehealth visits. You will join a collaborative mental health team and work with healthcare professionals across settings, including hospitals. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to shape treatment plans for children and adults.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose conditions and craft treatment plans.
- 2Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring patient responses and adjusting dosages.
- 3Provide therapy and counseling tailored to each patient's needs, including PTSD-focused care.
- 4Document every patient interaction and treatment plan accurately in medical records.
- 5Support research data collection for ongoing psychiatric studies.
- 6Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital settings for holistic patient care.
- 7Deliver specialized care for children and adolescents using age-appropriate techniques.
- 8Stay current with advancements in psychiatry and apply them to clinical practice.
Requirements10
- 1MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- 2Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry preferred.
- 32+ years in psychiatric care preferred.
- 4Experience with PTSD care and telehealth services highly desirable.
- 5Proficiency in medical terminology and patient assessment essential.
- 6Hospital environment experience is an advantage.
- 7Background in research data collection is beneficial.
- 8Valid MD License or DO license preferred.
- 9Ability to commute to Glendale, AZ 85302 and relocate before starting work required.
- 10Willingness to travel 25% preferred.
