What You'll Do10

  • 1Deliver individual, family, and group therapy to child and adolescent patients using CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based modalities.
  • 2Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic interviews and standardized testing, to inform treatment plans.
  • 3Collaborate with referring providers and school personnel to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
  • 4Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the Epic EHR system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • 5Participate in weekly case consultations with senior clinicians to refine diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
  • 6Develop and implement crisis intervention plans for high-risk patients, coordinating with emergency services as needed.
  • 7Provide psychoeducation to families on developmental, behavioral, and emotional challenges, fostering a supportive home environment.
  • 8Utilize measurement-based care tools to track patient progress and adjust treatment protocols accordingly.
  • 9Mentor predoctoral interns and practicum students, sharing clinical insights and supporting their professional growth.

Requirements9

  • 1Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
  • 22+ years of clinical experience with child and adolescent populations, including diagnostic evaluation and treatment.
  • 3Current, unrestricted California licensure as a Psychologist (or eligibility for licensure within 6 months).
  • 4Proficiency in evidence-based therapies, specifically CBT and DBT, with experience adapting for youth.
  • 5Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health records, preferably Epic or similar.
  • 6Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children, adolescents, families, and referral sources.
  • 7Commitment to cultural competence and addressing diverse patient needs in an urban setting.
  • 8Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends if desired.
  • 9Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus, but not required.
