What You'll Do11

  • 1Supervise Property Managers and staff ensuring financial soundness and regulatory compliance
  • 2Drive recruitment and performance management for portfolio teams

  • 4Oversee collections and resolve delinquent accounts
  • 5Conduct monthly property inspections and evaluate maintenance operations
  • 6Manage capital projects and anticipate future needs
  • 7Maintain compliance with Fair Housing and local regulations
  • 8Lead team development through coaching and mentorship
  • 9Represent SAHA in legal matters and community engagements
  • 10Travel extensively throughout the Bay Area for portfolio oversight
  • 11Analyze financial data and propose operational improvements

Requirements12

  • 1Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in property management
  • 2Minimum three years supervisory experience with proven leadership abilities
  • 3Three years managing Property Managers in affordable housing settings
  • 4Current Certified Occupancy Specialist or recent certification
  • 5Tax credit certification within six months of hire
  • 6California driver's license and DMV clearance
  • 7Strong Excel proficiency and familiarity with Yardi platform
  • 8Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
  • 9Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • 10Experience with HUD and local housing regulations
  • 11Proactive approach to identifying process improvements
  • 12Physical stamina for frequent travel and varied work conditions
