Overview
We seek a skilled Property Accountant to lead full-cycle accounting for multiple properties. This full-time onsite role requires independent ownership of day-to-day accounting functions. Strong Yardi experience is essential.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple properties
- 2Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- 3Process invoices and vendor payments
- 4Maintain vendor records and reconcile accounts
- 5Post and reconcile tenant rent payments and receipts
- 6Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- 7Maintain accurate general ledger entries
- 8Prepare and review journal entries
- 9Assist with cash management and account balances
- 10Coordinate payroll-related accounting and expense allocation
- 11Generate monthly financial reports and statements
Requirements9
- 1Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Yardi is required
- 2Experience with Yardi Genesis2 is highly preferred
- 3Proficiency in full-cycle accounting principles
- 4Expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable
- 5Ability to perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- 6Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- 7Independent problem solving skills
