Project Technician, Construction & Landscaping
Overview
You will own property maintenance and improvement across building repairs, landscaping, and irrigation systems at a multi-site residential community. Reporting to the maintenance lead, you'll work alongside a small crew of technicians to keep grounds safe and functional. This role offers 3+ years of hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems in varied weather. You'll gain broad skills in construction, landscaping, and safety compliance while working Monday through Friday with a stable schedule.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and repair building structures, fixtures, and finishes to maintain property quality
- 2Design and maintain landscaping features, including planting, pruning, and lawn care
- 3Install and debug irrigation systems, including sprinkler heads, valves, and controls
- 4Operate power tools and hand tools safely for cutting, fastening, and digging tasks
- 5Inspect and troubleshoot watering systems for leaks, clogs, and coverage issues
- 6Apply safety protocols in all tasks, including proper equipment handling and PPE use
- 7Manage physical labor tasks such as lifting, digging, and climbing in diverse terrains
- 8Maintain tools and equipment to ensure readiness and safety compliance
Requirements7
- 13+ years of experience in general construction, landscaping, or a related field
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 3Working knowledge of general construction methods, landscaping principles, and irrigation systems
- 4Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- 5Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in varied weather and terrain conditions
- 6Safety awareness and adherence to protocols in diverse working environments
- 7Problem-solving skills to address repair and maintenance issues effectively
Salary Insight
$37 - $46k per year
