Project Manager - Underground Fiber Construction
Overview
The Project Manager owns end-to-end delivery of underground fiber construction projects ensuring safety quality and schedule adherence. This role drives complex initiatives across diverse client landscapes.
What You'll Do11
- 1Develop comprehensive project plans schedules scopes of work and budgets
- 2Coordinate all construction phases from pre-construction procurement execution and closeout
- 3Manage site activities to align with approved plans specifications and timelines
- 4Monitor progress adjust schedules and maintain project momentum
- 5Prepare and manage budgets track expenses approve invoices and ensure cost-effective purchasing
- 6Maintain accurate documentation including contracts change orders RFIs submittals logs and progress reports
- 7Evaluate subcontractor performance resolve construction issues address client concerns and foster positive relationships
- 8Identify risks develop mitigation strategies and resolve scheduling conflicts design issues and unforeseen challenges
- 9Manage disputes coordinate stakeholders and maintain project timelines
- 10Lead cross-functional teams deliver results and uphold organizational standards
- 11Ensure compliance with safety regulations and regulatory requirements
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5+ years project management or construction leadership experience
- 2Proven ability to manage multiple projects from initiation to closure
- 3Deep understanding of underground fiber construction safety standards and regulatory frameworks
- 4Strong knowledge of construction processes materials methods and building codes
- 5Experience with estimating scheduling budgeting and contract administration
- 6Proficiency with construction project management software
- 7Excellent communication leadership problem-solving and organizational skills
