Project Manager, Technical Projects & Customer Delivery
Overview
You will own customer project orders of moderate size and complexity, driving them from initiation through closeout at Schneider Electric. You will manage several simultaneous projects, lead cross-functional teams, and coordinate with internal manufacturing and third-party vendors. Your work ensures consistent process compliance and metrics-driven improvement across project teams. This hybrid role requires presence in the Boston area up to three days weekly. You will directly influence customer satisfaction and long-term relationships, with travel exceeding 50%.
What You'll Do10
- 1Manage several simultaneous projects, directing a team through kick-off, execution, and closeout.
- 2Drive the team's compliance with Customer Projects Process, monitoring metrics to improve effectiveness.
- 3Monitor project execution, verifying technical requirements, project plans, and communication across all parties.
- 4Maintain the project schedule, communicating with customers to align expectations and resolve issues.
- 5Coordinate with internal manufacturing facilities and third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- 6Plan, communicate, and manage project risks, proactively addressing challenges.
- 7Support sales during quotation and preparation, managing tenders for engineered projects.
- 8Monitor project lifecycle performance, including task verification, team monitoring, and reporting.
- 9Solve problems and resolve issues to deliver positive customer feedback and stronger relationships.
- 10Lead project closeout, including financial reconciliation, equipment arrival, installation, start-up, software integration, and training.
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 25+ years of project management experience leading technical projects.
- 3Strong communication, decision-making, and team-building skills.
- 4Proven leadership and collaboration abilities.
- 5Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project or other scheduling software.
- 6Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, ongoing basis without visa sponsorship.
