Project Manager, Interior Construction
Overview
You will own interior construction projects from kickoff to closeout, ensuring on-time delivery within budget at Creative Office Resources. You coordinate with sales, design, and external vendors, managing schedules, field dimensions, and punch lists. You drive client satisfaction through proactive communication and meticulous follow-through. This role puts you at the center of high-stakes commercial fit-outs, where your expertise shapes the final outcome.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead project kickoff meetings with sales and design to align scope and expectations.
- 2Verify critical field dimensions and confirm layout against specifications.
- 3Develop a Project Micro Schedule that meets client move-in dates and coordinates with GC and trades.
- 4Coordinate delivery and installation with subcontractors, notifying them of estimated dates in advance.
- 5Track order status and generate reports on site visits and substantial completion.
- 6Perform final walk-throughs with client and GC, compiling punch lists within 24 hours.
- 7Manage punch list resolution and verify completion to customer satisfaction.
- 8Process change orders with written documentation for client and sales.
- 9Close out projects for month-end billing on a weekly basis.
- 10Update CORE and The Bridge with project status using correct symbols.
Requirements10
- 14-year college degree in a related field.
- 21-3 years of experience in interior construction or a related industry.
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- 4Strong understanding of construction schedules, lead times, and product specifications.
- 5Complete understanding of profit and loss implications and gross profit margin management.
- 6Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle high-volume detailed work.
- 7Ability to read and interpret construction documents and spec books.
- 8Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- 9Valid driver's license and reliable personal car with insurance.
- 10Technical aptitude with tools like Autodesk Construction Cloud and iPad.
Salary Insight
