Project Manager, FEMA AI & Cloud Programs
Overview
Lead FEMA AI initiatives as the Project/Product Manager for Digital Consultants, directing complex AI engineering programs across enterprise cloud platforms. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, translating FEMA strategic goals into actionable product roadmaps and delivery plans. Drive secure, production-quality AI solutions from use-case evaluation to deployment and sustainment. 5-10 years of program management experience in federal or regulated environments with PMP and CSM certification preferred.
What You'll Do10
- 1Direct and evaluate AI programs across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft 365, and ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with FEMA objectives.
- 2Manage high-risk AI initiatives from backlog development through deployment, modernizing and sustaining enterprise solutions.
- 3Supervise technical and administrative staff, including subordinate managers, to meet FEMA and corporate goals.
- 4Coordinate work among AI solution architects, developers, data scientists, and security personnel to deliver integrated solutions.
- 5Translate FEMA strategic goals into product roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, and release plans using Agile and Scrum practices.
- 6Establish Agile ceremonies and maintain JIRA and other project management tools for sprint planning and tracking.
- 7Assess AI use cases for feasibility, complexity, and cost to support prioritization decisions.
- 8Track risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies across enterprise platforms.
- 9Serve as primary liaison with FEMA clients, coordinating subcontractors and stakeholder briefings.
- 10Ensure compliance with CI/CD standards, Security Authorization, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
Requirements10
- 15-10 years leading complex, high-risk programs in AI or cloud environments.
- 2PMP and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PSM certification preferred.
- 3Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, AI, machine learning, or related field.
- 4Experience supervising technical and administrative staff, including subordinate managers.
- 5Proven ability to manage Agile ceremonies and use JIRA or similar tools.
- 6Experience coordinating with federal clients and senior government officials.
- 7Knowledge of Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft 365, and ServiceNow.
- 8Ability to interpret policies and provide leadership for progressive programs.
- 9Experience building front-end solutions with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- 10U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain FEMA public trust suitability.
