Overview

Own end-to-end delivery of small to medium civil construction projects, from scope and budget to on-site execution. Manage project plans, resources, and schedules while coordinating with clients, APR, and cross-functional teams. This role supports a team of CMTs in Nashville and offers profit-sharing as part of an employee-owned firm. You'll drive quality and safety compliance while resolving operational issues to keep projects on track.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Define project scope, schedule, and budget with clients or NAM to align expectations.
  • 2Design and implement a comprehensive project plan covering all phases from initiation to closeout.
  • 3Lead safety plan compliance and enforce OSHA standards on every project site.
  • 4Resolve operational problems to minimize delays and keep workflows moving.
  • 5Identify and gather resources, including preparing calculations, designs, and technical reports.
  • 6Develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts to track performance and adjust as needed.
  • 7Select materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors to meet project needs.
  • 8Partner with departments to secure specialized resources and coordinate with APR for oversight.
  • 9Conduct status meetings and prepare progress reports for stakeholders and management.
  • 10Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate project staff to hit milestones and targets.

Requirements8

  • 15+ years of project management experience in construction and materials testing.
  • 2Knowledge of civil engineering and construction management principles.
  • 3Experience in site development and project coordination.
  • 4Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field, or 9+ years experience in lieu of degree.
  • 5Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
  • 6Proficiency with project management tools like MS Project and scheduling software.
  • 7Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and compliance.
  • 8Experience managing budgets and forecasts in a construction environment.
