Overview
Seco seeks a Project Engineer to lead end-to-end manufacturing solutions from concept through industrialisation. The ideal candidate will combine machining expertise with digital engineering tools to deliver practical technical approaches and measurable value. This role reports to the Regional Innovation Hub Manager and focuses on shaping the future of manufacturing through sustainable, customer-focused innovations.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead end-to-end manufacturing projects from concept to implementation delivering quality solutions on time and within scope
- 2Turn customer needs into practical machining tooling and execution strategies using CAD/CAM and simulation software
- 3Shape high-performing cutting-tool applications and machining strategies through technical direction on tool design and process optimisation
- 4Provide technical leadership on digital solution validation and project documentation
- 5Bring together sales engineering and technical specialists to achieve shared project goals
- 6Coach colleagues and share expertise to strengthen team capability and delivery
- 7Partner with sales throughout consultation implementation and troubleshooting to build trusted customer relationships
- 8Coordinate multiple projects balancing priorities resources risks and customer commitments
- 9Track performance continuously improving workflows standards and project delivery
- 10Analyse trial process and customer data to guide technical decisions and showcase impact via case studies
- 11Champion safety environmental compliance and sustainable practices across all activities
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of experience in production or mechanical engineering
- 35+ years hands-on experience with CAD/CAM programming for 2-3-5 axis machines
- 42-7 years proficiency in CRM systems Microsoft Office and project tools
- 5Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field
- 6Fluent English with strong written and spoken communication skills
- 7Customer-focused accountability and autonomous problem-solving mindset
- 8Experience with value-based selling process development and consultative approaches
- 9Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies preferred
