Project Controller Americas Operations
Overview
Drive operational excellence through cost management and performance optimization supporting productivity growth across Americas operations. Partner with the Productivity and Operations Finance Center of Excellence to enhance cost accuracy and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do14
- 1Manage and control expenses for assigned budgets across planned outages under CSAs to meet contractual obligations
- 2Support Application Engineers in developing accurate Job Cost Estimates for CSA outages
- 3Estimate expenditures and recommend cost-saving opportunities to Project Managers and Service Managers
- 4Develop proactive solutions and implement cost-reduction initiatives
- 5Build strong relationships with CSA PMs SMs Finance Sourcing and Risk teams for efficient project execution
- 6Obtain organize and validate outage-related costs including labor materials manufacturing supplier invoices timesheets and travel expenses
- 7Request and download cost information for outages to maintain Site Cost Tracking records
- 8Compare final costs against estimates to identify variances prevent overruns and drive continuous improvement
- 9Collaborate with PMs and SMs to review and finalize outage costs present cost performance for completed and upcoming outages
- 10Maintain CSA Reconciliation Workflow using My Outage information coordinate with headquarters Project Controllers for cost inputs
- 11Implement Earned Value Management methodologies to maximize resource utilization
- 12Identify cost improvement opportunities using Baker Hughes tools and processes
- 13Optimize costs for Field Service Engineers including Residents and B2B resource pools
- 14Provide monthly cost versus budget updates and guidance on FSE expenses and P&L considerations
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading cross-functional regional stakeholders
- 3Concrete experience in Operations within Oil & Gas services environment
- 4Strong analytical mindset focused on data productivity and performance improvement
- 5Proven track record demonstrating influence and communication skills
- 6Flexible working patterns available including flexible hours and remote arrangements
- 7Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Business or equivalent experience
- 8Experience in Services environment
- 9Excellent presentation influencing and problem-solving abilities
- 10Commitment to continuous learning and development
