Program Director, Day Support Services & 245D
Overview
Lead two Day Support and Prevocational Services programs in White Bear Lake, guiding a team of Program Supervisors who support adults with disabilities. Own licensing compliance, staff development, and person-centered service delivery under 245D rules. Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, and performance management, and serve as the Designated Manager for both sites. You bring supervisory experience in human services and a commitment to meaningful outcomes for participants. What You'll Do7
- 1Develop and coach Program Supervisors, conducting performance reviews and handling employee matters including corrective actions and FMLA
- 2Serve as the Designated Manager under 245D, ensuring licensing compliance, incident review, and corrective action documentation
- 3Ensure person-centered services through assessments, skill development, and outcome measurement, coordinating with guardians and case managers
- 4Maintain trusted relationships with residential providers, families, and stakeholders, serving as the reliable point of contact
- 5Support participant growth by partnering with Admissions to conduct tours and evaluate service needs
- 6Drive program quality and innovation, implementing improvements that enhance participant experiences
- 7Confirm staff maintain required training and competency documentation, partnering with central coordination
Requirements7
- 13+ years supervisory-level experience in a program serving vulnerable adults or children
- 21+ year full-time direct care experience with persons with disabilities or age 65+, plus a bachelor's degree in human services, education, or health
- 3Knowledge of 245D licensing, incident reporting, and corrective action, with direct experience strongly preferred
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn other workplace systems
- 5Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- 6Ability to pass DHS Background Study and OIG check
- 7Age 21+ and ability to maintain clearance for direct contact services
