Overview

Own the full lifecycle of USMS badges and credentials, from issuance to retirement, for the HSPD-12 Office in Washington, DC. You will process credentialing and access control activities, ensure compliance with agency policies, and maintain property accountability. Report directly to the Tactical Operations Division, coordinating with high-level officials across the agency. This role demands superior organization and attention to detail, with the opportunity to support a federal security operation. Distinct from other analyst roles, you will directly manage badge lifecycle and sensitive documentation, requiring Public Trust clearance.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Process credentialing and access control activities for USMS operations, including badge issuance and verification.
  • 2Oversee the complete lifecycle of USMS badges and credentials, from creation to retirement, ensuring accountability and compliance.
  • 3Track and maintain property accountability using government property management systems, such as HSPD-12.
  • 4Document retired credentials and credential accountability processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • 5Communicate via telephone and email with high-level officials, district offices, and contract affiliates to resolve credentialing issues.
  • 6Provide guidance on program policies and operational procedures, clarifying requirements for stakeholders.
  • 7Support administrative and operational tasks for the HSPD-12 Office, including scheduling and reporting.
  • 8Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information, following federal security protocols.
  • 9Coordinate with the Tactical Operations Division to streamline badge processing and access control workflows.

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Background Investigation.
  • 3Superior time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • 4Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 5Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal employees and outside stakeholders.
  • 6Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • 7High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • 8Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • 9Prior experience in a PIV Card or CAC Card office preferred.
  • 10Prior experience supporting a DOJ HSPD-12 office preferred.
