Overview
Lead a team of production support engineers owning stability, support, governance, and enhancement of enterprise document management applications in a regulated financial services environment. Report to senior leadership and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and vendor partners. Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and platform modernization while maintaining regulatory compliance. 5+ years managing production support teams and 3+ years in financial services are essential.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own 24/7 production support for enterprise document management and e-signature platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
- 2Lead incident response and root cause analysis, driving resolution and preventive actions for critical outages.
- 3Drive continuous improvement of monitoring, alerting, and automation to reduce toil and improve system reliability.
- 4Manage a team of engineers, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
- 5Partner with development teams to influence design for operability and deployability.
- 6Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and audit requirements for document retention and security.
- 7Report on operational metrics and SLAs to senior leadership, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
- 8Coordinate with vendors for third-party support and escalations.
Requirements7
- 15+ years managing production support or DevOps teams in enterprise environments.
- 23+5 years managing production support for Java, Spring Boot, and Angular applications.
- 3Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform in production support.
- 4Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ELK Stack for automated deployments and log analysis.
- 55+ years experience in financial services or other regulated industry.
- 6Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- 7Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
