Production Operator, Manufacturing & Software Configuration
Overview
As a Production Operator, you will own the software loading and configuration process for customer-ordered hardware at a Southborough site, supporting daily manufacturing operations. You will work with SOPs, BOMs, and configuration station displays to ensure each order meets specifications. Join a team that values accuracy and efficiency in a fast-moving production environment. What You'll Do8
- 1Load and configure software onto customer-ordered hardware by following SOPs and product specifications.
- 2Review production orders and conduct inventory audits to verify BOM components and quantities.
- 3Identify and select the correct software using the configuration station display.
- 4Apply software part-number labels to hardware for accurate kitting and validation.
- 5Organize completed production orders and prepare them for handoff to the kitting validation team.
- 6Maintain accuracy and organization throughout the production and configuration process.
- 7Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
- 8Communicate effectively with team members and other production departments as needed.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- 21+ years experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- 3Ability to follow written procedures with strong attention to detail.
- 4Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- 5Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- 6Strong time-management and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks.
