What You'll Do11
- 1Manage day-to-day inventory planning for respective products in a fast-paced environment
- 2Process Oracle MRP output and Planned Orders to support demand
- 3Track work order shortages and expedite materials daily
- 4Reschedule and expedite production and service material Purchase Orders
- 5Follow up on purchase orders and quotes preparing summary and price comparison documentation
- 6Place purchase orders as needed for assigned commodities and suppliers
- 7Experience in consignment inventory management at vendor locations
- 8Initiate and follow through on supplier date changes resolving delivery issues
- 9Assist with prompt disposition of non-conforming materials
- 10Communicate supplier performance focusing on On Time Delivery and Quality
- 11Work with mechanical/machined component suppliers both locally and overseas
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 3 years purchasing experience
- 2Proven skills in purchasing scheduling material requirements planning inventory management risk management supplier relationship management
- 3Experience with mechanical machined component suppliers
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel pivot tables
- 5Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud experience
- 6Fast-paced high technology manufacturing environment experience
- 7Understanding of Lean principles and Kanban utilization
- 8APICS CPIM or CPP certification preferred
