Production Lead - 2nd Shift
Overview
The Production Lead will oversee daily tactical operations of a manufacturing area aligning with business strategy to support customer requirements. This role ensures a safe workplace and supervises staffing to meet production targets while managing inventory and maintaining production quality.
What You'll Do11
- 1Ensure a physically and emotionally safe workplace for all employees
- 2Support supervisors in staffing direct and indirect labor to meet production goals
- 3Operate machines within designated areas and maintain accurate production numbers in the ERP system
- 4Manage inventory locations both physically and in the ERP system
- 5Assist in evaluating direct and indirect reports and train staff on quality safety and performance metrics
- 6Provide constructive feedback to ensure outputs meet expectations
- 7Maintain positive relationships with teams to foster commitment and engagement
- 8Notify supervisors about material or equipment issues
- 9Stay current with manufacturing technologies supporting sustainability and organizational health
- 10Lead by example demonstrating leadership that builds a collaborative culture
- 11Drive operational excellence through Lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving strategies

- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of progressive manufacturing experience
- 32+ years technical training and supervisory experience
- 45+ years experience with Lean manufacturing principles
- 52+ years direct supervisory role overseeing individual contributors
- 62+ years experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
- 7Proficiency in problem-solving techniques and analytical reporting
- 8Competent in Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems
- 9Physical ability to move throughout the facility and perform sedentary computer tasks
- 1018 years old to work for Cartamundi
