Production Assistant Ceramics Studio
Overview
Join our ceramics studio as a Production Assistant- no experience necessary, we will train. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our studio, assist with the production of ceramic artworks, and help to process, ship and pack orders. This position offers a unique chance to grow within a small creative team and provides flexible hours for personal development.
What You'll Do11
- 1Apply surface decoration to fired pieces using brushes and sponges
- 2Process incoming raw materials and prepare them for firing
- 3Ship and pack finished artworks according to client specifications
- 4Maintain clean and organized workstations
- 5Assist senior staff with daily studio tasks
- 6Manage inventory of supplies and equipment
- 7Follow safety protocols in the ceramics studio
- 8Develop listening skills through headphone use during repetitive tasks
- 9Demonstrate attention to detail in packaging and labeling
- 10Collaborate with artists on project timelines
- 11Support marketing efforts by preparing artwork documentation
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons working in fast-paced environments
- 325-30 lbs lifting capacity
- 45+ years experience with ceramics and kiln operation
- 53+ years proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- 61 year experience with Shopify platform
- 72+ years knowledge of Docker containerization
- 84+ years background in Python scripting
- 92+ years familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration
- 101 year exposure to CI/CD pipelines
- 113+ years customer service experience
