Product Specialist, Home Appliances & Quality Analysis
Overview
You will own product readiness for home appliances from concept to launch, working with HQ and factories to ensure quality and serviceability. You will drive data-based quality sensing with a focus on Annual Service Rate analysis to reduce redo rates. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product engineering, contact center, and field service. This role is critical for product improvement and launch success, offering a direct line to global manufacturing. 2-4 years of home appliance experience with in-home service exposure is required.
What You'll Do8
- 1Develop and maintain product launch plans, including timelines, milestones, and key deliverables, ensuring products meet quality expectations.
- 2Evaluate new model concepts, functions, and designs for quality improvement prior to mass production, using Excel and PPT for analysis.
- 3Collaborate with HQ and factories to confirm product readiness, including product evaluation, user trial, and training.
- 4Perform data-based quality sensing with primary focus on Annual Service Rate analysis to identify top symptoms and issues driving high redo rates.
- 5Analyze, evaluate, and test home appliance product categories to identify root causes and corrective actions with internal teams, HQ, and factories.
- 6Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product engineers, contact center, training, and field service, to resolve quality issues.
- 7Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery of quality improvements.
- 8Support product improvement initiatives by providing technical advice to customers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements8
- 12-4 years of home appliance experience with in-home service experience, product management, or product development.
- 2Strong understanding of product development or management processes, specifically in the home appliance field.
- 3Experience with quality analysis, product testing, and validation.
- 4Understanding of manufacturing, engineering, and product design principles.
- 5Proficiency in Excel, PPT, and computer skills.
- 6Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- 7Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- 8Korean bilingual preferred but not required.
