The Product Line Manager will own the strategy and execution for Amphenol's Cable Backplane products at scale, guiding cross functional teams to drive design wins and revenue growth. You will collaborate with marketing, engineering, sales, and operations to define market requirements, pricing, and lifecycle plans. What You'll Do10

  • 1Lead the development and marketing of Cable Backplane products across assigned markets and key accounts
  • 2Drive the new business opportunity funnel with sales to win design opportunities and grow top and bottom lines
  • 3Collaborate with field sales to identify requirements and market trends for design wins and portfolio positioning
  • 4Present and promote the optical portfolio to field teams and target customers
  • 5Prepare revenue projections and forecast analyses for key accounts and book-to-ship estimates
  • 6Coordinate pricing and market strategy with sales to maximize share at key accounts
  • 7Engage in cross functional product and solution gap analysis to close total available market
  • 8Own product lifecycle management including rationalization, PCNs, capacity planning, and margin management
  • 9Support NPD and product extension projects and develop marketing materials for field usage
  • 10Monitor market conditions and recommend competitive product line positioning

Requirements5

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related technical field with business acumen
  • 23+ years of product management, project management, engineering, or technical business development experience
  • 3Experience in the interconnect industry preferred
  • 4Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • 5Experience collaborating with global cross functional teams and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done
