What You'll Do9
- 1Lead design and sustainment efforts on multiple products with sub six month timelines
- 2Provide technical assistance to manufacturing, quality, and purchasing teams for released products
- 3Manage product returns, conduct failure analysis, identify root causes and implement upgrades
- 4Identify field performance issues from data and customer input and develop corrective actions
- 5Engineer hardware, firmware, and telecommunications solutions for new products
- 6Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to research and introduce new technology
- 7Support design and implementation activities for new products and hardware platforms
- 8Rely on rugged, reliable electronics and PCB design practices to meet security industry standards
- 9Drive project outcomes with a sense of urgency and clear communication
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field or 4+ years in an engineering role
- 25+ years of experience in product design, test and manufacturing engineering
- 31 year of vendor or contractor management
- 4Knowledge of RF and portable power circuits
- 5Experience with analog and digital electronics
- 6Ability to design flex, rigid, and rigid-flex PCBs
- 7Strong problem solving and solution development skills
- 8Effective communication with diverse audiences including technical and non-technical
- 9Good customer service skills and sense of urgency
- 10US citizenship and ability to pass federal background check and obtain suitability determination
Salary Insight
$90 - $105k per year
