Overview
Own the end-to-end microservices architecture for filing intake, validation, dissemination, and search at a federal-scale platform. Define technical vision across a dozen Agile teams, integrating Amazon Bedrock Agents and Model Context Protocol into product features. Forge the technical roadmap that bridges business needs with engineering execution, ensuring Section 508 compliance and regulatory adherence. This role arbitrates cross-team decisions and mentors lead engineers, setting the standard for high-impact design.
What You'll Do7
- 1Define product architecture and technical roadmap across filing intake, validation, dissemination, and search capabilities.
- 2Design microservices and event-driven patterns aligned to filing workflows and data flows.
- 3Architect agentic AI integration with Amazon Bedrock Agents and Model Context Protocol into product features and development lifecycle.
- 4Decompose epics into coherent technical slices with product owners and lead engineers.
- 5Arbitrate cross-team technical decisions spanning development, data, and security, ensuring performance, scalability, and regulatory requirements.
- 6Maintain architecture documentation, decision records, and interface contracts.
- 7Mentor lead engineers and review high-impact designs for scalability and security.
Requirements8
- 110+ years of software/product architecture experience, including large-scale federal systems.
- 2Deep experience with microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture.
- 3Proven ability to lead architecture across multiple Agile teams.
- 4Experience with Amazon Bedrock Agents, MCP, or applied agentic AI architecture.
- 5AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent.
- 6Financial-regulatory or filing-systems domain experience.
- 7Strong communication and presentation skills with technical and business stakeholders.
- 8Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass a 7-year background check for government clearance.
