Principal Contracts Analyst SFO Procurement Modernization
Overview
Lead comprehensive reviews and assessments of existing procurement processes at SFO. Lead modernization workstreams and ensure milestone completion. Conduct process mapping and stakeholder interviews to identify inefficiencies. Develop improvement strategies and SOPs. Create visual workflows and documentation using Miro Word and SharePoint. Establish standardized frameworks and training curricula. Drive stakeholder engagement and communication. This role focuses exclusively on modernization and process improvement without routine transaction processing.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead comprehensive reviews and assessments of existing procurement processes, procedures, and workflows
- 2Lead assigned modernization workstreams and ensure completion of project milestones and deliverables
- 3Conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, and stakeholder interviews to identify inefficiencies, gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement
- 4Develop process improvement strategies, implementation plans, and Standard Operating Procedures
- 5Create process maps, visual workflows, and support documentation using Miro Word and SharePoint
- 6Review existing procurement policies, procedures, templates, and guidance documents to establish a standardized framework
- 7Organize, migrate, and maintain procurement resources, templates, procedures, and training materials
- 8Establish document management standards to improve accessibility, version control, and knowledge sharing
- 9Develop a comprehensive procurement training curriculum for procurement analysts, contract managers, vendors, and specialty user groups
- 10Lead stakeholder engagement activities with SFO divisions, procurement customers, contract managers, and vendor communities
- 11Develop procurement communication materials, outreach resources, and informational content
Requirements10
- 1Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
- 2Five (5) years’ full-time work experience performing professional-level analytical work
- 3Procurement experience: 3+ years supporting procurement, sourcing, or vendor coordination
- 4Customer service skills: 3+ years resolving stakeholder issues with strong satisfaction outcomes
- 5Technical/business writing: 3+ years preparing clear reports, SOPs, or documentation
- 6Technology adaptability: 3 years working with digital tools and learning new platforms quickly
- 7Power BI & analytics: 3 years of experience with Power BI, data analysis, or tech implementation
- 8Substitution: Graduate degree may replace one year of required experience
- 9Additional experience may substitute for required degree on a year-for-year basis up to two years
- 10Thirty (30) semester units or forty-five (45) quarter units equal one year
Salary Insight
$144 - $178k per year
